Karen- I had the honor of hearing you speak at the Relay for Life/Survivor Dinner in Caldwell County at SCHS on Thursday night June 3rd 2010. Your testimony touched me and so many more I am sure. You are truly the shadow of God to so many. What a blessing your story was to me and how in the midst of all those trials, even beyond all the cancers, you are still able to praise God even during the difficult times. You are an example for many to live by! I cant wait to read your book and share your website with so many I know that are fighting the fight against cancer. I had the privlege of hearing you speak at the 2010 Cancer Survivor Celebration at CVCC last evening. Thank you for sharing your story. I was there with my sister (2-yr ovarian cancer) and mom (23-yr breast cancer). May God continue to bless you and your ministery!

I love this book, and all your testimonies of what god has done for you. I was diagnosed with lung cancer one year ago. I can hardly bare to spell it moreless, say it. I dont question god, but I know of his healing powers, and that he wants to heal, andkeep us as whittnesess for him. I dont know of his plan for me, but I do know of his grace that he has bestowed upon my life. I love to pray for others, but just cant seem to ask for myself. he stood death and was the plan,but who am I to ask his almighty powers of healings. He has brought me and kept me throughout many incidents of deaths door, and I thank him and praise him. I dont know why,nor,do I want to question him. You are an inspiration to all his people.

Hi Karen, I saw your post on the FB Proverbs 31 Ministries site and had to take a look. I've been sick for two years (not with cancer) and needed some encouragement. Thank you for being a blessing to me. I had cancer as an infant (retinoblastoma) and am recovering from a hysterectomy. Complications have had me on bedrest for a while and well, enough said. Thank you for sharing your story, it is inspiring. May our gracious Lord continue to pour out His mighty and wonderful blessings upon you, Sonny, and your family.

My wife Lisa and I met you at church with your husband this past Sunday in Winchester, VA. I just wanted to thank you for everything you said to my wife and the blessing you have been. She has been so encouraged after talking to you, and I think she may have more to fight with now. I just wanted to thank you very much for the words you let the Lord use through you to talk to my wife.
